OK…so maybe gettin’ all fancy, reviewing wines, doesn’t work. But you both could review wine labels !?! I don’t know ANYONE who does that. And THAT would make you REEEAAALLL fancy (and you’d still get to drink lots of wine).

I am pretty sure they are talking about how long the taste lingers on your taste buds after you have swallowed it. Sometimes I really can taste an oak-y, buttery, or chocolaty berry finish to a wine. Sometimes, it just tastes as if I’ve licked the inside of the screw cap. I’ve had seriously expensive bottles of wine that tasted like cough syrup gone bad, and el cheapo bottles that I wish would never end! I think my father in law is right! I’ll keep my eye out for book mark here in NH, where the state owned/run liquor stores are situated conveniently on the highways!
